Description

A set of six provincial Inverness silver tablespoons by Charles Jamieson. Circa 1810. The dromedary hallmark is one of the hallmarks for Inverness. The dromedary was part of the early Inverness coat of arms, to signify the thriving trade with the East.  The spoons are inscribed with the initials IMW.
